Inspiration
Since we are students, we are very busy with school work and one especially time-consuming part of school is research for essays and discussions. We decided to build a webapp to solve the time issue considering how much time researching takes.
What it does
It streamlines the researching process making it easier and faster. It can search for academic articles, suggest additional topics to research, highlight key parts of the article, take notes, and cite articles.
How we built it
We used HTML, Javascript, Node, and CSS. We implemented the IBM Watson API, Aylien API, Easybib API, and Nature API.

What we learned
We learned how to integrate many API's and learned about front end development, UI and UX.
What's next for Dawn
We are planning to transition this hackathon project into our very own startup. Currently we are still working on developing our product into an MVP.
