Inspiration

DAUREA NeuroBalance was inspired by the importance of sensory accessibility, especially for autistic individuals and people who experience sensory overload. The goal is to make technology more inclusive and supportive of individual needs.

What it does

DAUREA NeuroBalance is a web application prototype focused on sensory comfort and inclusive education. It provides sensory check-ins, personalized comfort suggestions, study break reminders, and tools to help users plan more comfortable environments.

How we built it

The application was developed using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. It was published on Netlify, allowing users to access the prototype directly through a web browser.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenges included designing an accessible interface, organizing multiple interactive features, and creating a functional prototype with simple web technologies.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We developed and published a web prototype that combines accessibility, sensory awareness, and educational support in a single project.

What we learned

We gained practical experience in web development, accessibility, interface design, and the importance of creating technology that respects different sensory needs.

What's next

Future improvements may include additional accessibility options, expanded personalization, improved visualizations, and more tools for sensory self-management.

Current status

DAUREA NeuroBalance is an educational prototype. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment.
