Inspiration

This was inspired by the growing amount of online websites in which people are able to meet and chat with real people.

What it does

This is an easy-to-navigate dating platform in which users can video call and chat with others.

How we built it

I built it using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

I had trouble ensuring that the video call feature would work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the fact that I was able to make the video call feature work as it was my first time doing something of this difficulty.

What we learned

I learned how to add profiles, things from chat, and video calls to local data storage so that the other profiles can access it.

What's next for DateMate

I might include more features for DateMate such as an algorithm to match certain people.
