Dataverse is the user centric model we have created, which satisfies the purpose as it helps user to earn from data maintaining privacy of the user and having more control over data.

Inspiration

With the evolution of Communications technology and computer science, every user has a digital footprint and more and more of them are spending most of their time and money digitally. With this rise the value of data is increasing day by day. But none of this rise in value of data seems to benefit the user. The companies sell this data for personal profit and the users get bombarded with unnecessary ads and calls. Our inspiration was to change this unfair system.

What it does

Our platform is designed to give more and more control of the data to the user. We are trying to create a parity in this model by providing the benefit of this data to the user monetarily as well as by giving them more control over their data. It is a User centric data monetization platform where the user will also get paid for the usage of their data.

How we built it

  1. Created Homepage using basic html and css
  2. Use Auth0 api for user login procedure
  3. Add social connection login option in the login page using auth0 dev keys and developer client id and secret key
  4. After the login user data will be stored in the format of json file
  5. After login user will able to see dashboard and rank tabs accordingly
  6. In rank tabs user able to see his total revenue generated by selling his data
  7. User also able to see last 10 data transition in form of table which is made using recharts library
  8. Using recharts we created top 10 ranking table ## Challenges we ran into We ran into various challenges while building the project. 1) what features to provide to make platform more user centric 2) How to make it profitable, sustainable while also providing the benefits to the user. 3) How to setup an enterprise in real life and what challenges we face doing it. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud of the fact that we are trying to develop a genuine platform where the users get benefitted from their data along with the corporations. ## What we learned We have learned a lot of things about the programming while building the code. We also.learnt various aspects of enterprise management and establishment while building the project. ## What's next for DataVerse We are planning to build a sustainable and profitable business which will survive long term, giving us maximum chance to change the way data is monetized worldwide. Making it more user centric over the time.
