Overview
Our project was inspired by the challenge of coordinating outfits, a task that can be time-consuming and sometimes overwhelming. We learned a great deal about machine learning, particularly about transformers and how they can be applied beyond traditional language processing tasks.
We built our project using a transformer model trained on fashion data, teaching it to recognize and recommend compatible clothing items.
Challenges
The main challenges we faced included preprocessing the data to suit our model's needs, ensuring that our AI recommendations were diverse and practical, and optimizing our model to work efficiently.
Our journey was filled with trial and error, but ultimately, it was a rewarding experience that combined our passion for tech and fashion.
