Inspiration
We have three primary focuses:
1) Explore what factors affect booking of hotels
2) build a recommender
3) Obtain new knowledge by unsupervised learning
What it does
We only managed to finish 1) and 3), and for 3), we do not find what we hoped to find.
How we built it
We have jupyter notebooks with comments inside
Challenges we ran into
Time, and coding. It's challenging to code the whole recommendation pipeline in less than 24 hours.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to plot a few bar graphs in data exploration.
What we failed:
1) we were trying to build a knn-Collaborative Filtering recommender but we ran out of time
