Inspiration
Tools like Bolt has been using the power of Ai to build websites, so why can't I develop a similar tool but for Data Science, Data Analytics and Machine Learning.
What it does
A prompt for a data analytics tool.
How we built it
Used Figma to build a UI for it and imported to bolt, Used Gemini Free API and used a System Prompt for wrapping it for the purpose of Data Analytics and Machine Learning. I tried to make an inline code execution however could not do it.
Challenges we ran into
Implementing the API and making sure it's running, there have been too many issues there. I was unable to make an inline code editor here will have to search for alternative ways to execute code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I somehow found out a way to atleast make it work for basic data analytics, I never though this would have been possible even though I did have the idea in mind. The UI is also pretty decent. I am very bad at design. I learnt how to wrap up an LLM and also found out a free API and pretty much managed everything in few days.
What we learned
i had to start late because of circumstances, but I believe what i did in few days was quite challenging. no product is perfect at first or forever perfect. I will keep on improving my product and make it to the level of perplexity and bolt someday (maybe by the end of this year too : ) )
What's next for DataStory
I want it to be able to execute code inline using Pyodine and also make a jupyter notebook kind of snippet in chat in that way it would be able to ease the work of Data Scientist. Make a premium subscription model. Also I want to target small business firms who can't afford a Data Scientist could use my app to better optimize their production or business.
