DataingBot

Inspiration

I'd read about the wit.ai platform both on Quickbase and from other sources. It was by trying it's NLP platform that I've had the idea of developing DataingBot.

What it does

It answers the user's messages based on some of its data. And scores the dating skills of the user.

How I built it

I used normal development tools, like the text editor and also the LAMP stack to run the software.

Challenges I ran into

Since this type of chatbot is particularily new, the maintenance part was quite challenging. Moreover, the quickbase platform is pretty high end and it's uniqueness proved to be challenging too.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It's a cool experience overall... And getting through the virtual hackathon for the first times is something I'm pretty proud of. The real hackathons don't span over two days.
