Datafish is designed to raise education and awareness about data about the world straight from the sources of that data. Big organizations like NASA, the CDC, and charity organizations can create many data streams which anyone can follow and receive updates about. Datafish is meant to be "the Twitter of data." Users represent fish, who with our program, are better able to navigate the large ocean of data available to them. Datafish allows them to ride certain data streams that they are interested in, as well as create their own streams of data, for personal and for public usage. Data is updated in real time from its source, whether it be an online database or another user. Users can create unique usernames and passwords, and then proceed to explore the many streams that are available. These streams come in different genres, which we have included 10 of. Some examples include education, health, finance, environment, etc.
