Simple story here, over the past few years, local, state and federal governments have opened up their database via government Open Data initiative. Though their initial efforts were very noble, but in a lot cases the data hasn't been update or maintained accurately. Incorrect, inaccurate or stale data is annoying problem, since locale based applications rely on accurate up to date data. Generally, a lot of application become obselete very quickly if the data is old.
So this project, build a health manger of open data repo, tracks them and provides a simple to understand metrics on data quality.
