The process behind Data-Fish-Bank
Our group is conformed by 2 systems engineers and 2 industrial engineers. We decided that we can`t focus in a problem that has a lot of technical information and demands a lot of knowledge. So we took the problem about de research and recollecting information.
First and as requirement of the company, the solution or the app must be easy to use and light, so we know we cant have a lot of pictures an information in the web page, so scrapping al the information that can be find in internet and put it into our web site, the way to find this information is to search some things about the vessel you want to find, also you have the opportunity to see all the ships in the sea in real time. There is another last where you can discover where the specie is located, depending of the fish you are searching for. In another lash you can deposit the information about your fishing: where did you pick it, when, etc. in real time. The most important thing about this is to have a big database about the entire fishery and with this create a system of information, alert and research.
The web page integrates past and present information, easy to access and easy to use, even if you are in middle of the ocean. It was an extensive work but have the benefit of the application in the word, because all the information collected will be free access and will generate alerts.
