Agentic Data Analytics on Dynamodb

We're proposing an Agentic DynamoDB Analytics Workflow that bridges the gap between complex database queries and natural human communication.

Inspiration

We noticed a recurring challenge: non-technical team members were often blocked from accessing crucial data, slowing decision-making and stifling innovation. We imagined a world where anyone—regardless of technical background—could simply ask questions in plain English and instantly unlock powerful, data-driven insights.

What it does

Our solution is a seamless natural language analytics interface for DynamoDB that empowers everyone to:

  1. Transform plain English questions into highly optimized DynamoDB queries
  2. Harness Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver contextual insights and actionable recommendations
  3. Enables real-time customer support with data-driven responses
  4. Break down barriers and democratize data access across the entire organization

How we built it

We deployed DynamoDB MCP (Management Control Plane) directly into Agentcore, integrating our Jarvis-powered interface to communicate effortlessly with MCP servers.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Query Translation Complexity: Interpreting nuanced natural language and converting it into precise DynamoDB queries required numerous iterations, edge-case handling, and continuous refinement.
  2. Performance Optimization: Delivering deep analytical results in real-time meant striking a delicate balance between thoroughness and the lightning-fast responses users expect.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. Achieved over 95% accuracy when translating natural language questions into DynamoDB queries.
  2. Built an intuitive, user-friendly interface that anyone can use—no technical skills required.

The hackathon project was built to showcase Agentcore integration with our existing product Jarvis, which is need to be deployed within the client’s environment and secured with active directory.
