I have seen various dashboards in real-time regarding the covid19, however, they load the user interface with a lot of information which makes reading it tedious or confusing.
What is sought in this application in dashboard format is to minimize the amount of information displayed on the screen and focus on a specific type of information.
- Updates real-time information on the number of people hospitalized in regular, intensive, ventilated beds.
This application aims to be viewed on large screens to be consulted by the teams in charge of making decisions on the number of beds that the different regions of the countries have. For this application, the data from the beds in Switzerland have been taken as a case study.
How I built it
It uses a set of tools and open source codes, especially the dash-plotly library. The heroku server was used to load the application.
Challenges I ran into
Upload the application to the webserver.
Achievements I am proud of
An application with a minimalist interface.
What I learned
I learned how to make graphics using the dash-plotly library.
What's next for Dashboard to show bed indicators at country level?
- Add an email alert if the number of people hospitalized will start to reach the number of beds available.
- If a hospital fills its used bed capacity, calculate the closest region where an available bed is located.
