Inspiration

When looking at a slide puzzle, it always reminded me of sudoku. Combining a simple puzzle like a classic slide puzzle with maths, created a new way to kill time for all ages!

What it does

Each row and column has a number next to it. That's the sum of the correct tiles in that row or column. The player has to think of the perfect position of each tile that will satisfy both its row and its column.

How I built it

This is a fork of VGVenture's slide puzzle, so it's built with Dart and Flutter.

Challenges I ran into

  • Audio did not play on tap but only on keypress.
  • Responsive UI needed modifications for the extra tiles & buttons.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

  • Sums & tiles are generated in a simple yet smart way.
  • Cross platform builds.

What I learned

  • Better understanding of bloc and widget relations.
  • Cross platform audio.
  • Setting up github actions for full cross platform builds.

What's next for Dash's Homework

Probably apart from additions, add multiplication for more advanced players.
