Inspiration

Desktop widget for managing emails

What it does

After installing the client you get notifications right on your desktop when incoming email get in out outlook account. You can choose replay to them without having to switch context.

How I built it

The client is a wpf applications using signalr to manage connection session with our backend.

Challenges I ran into

Connecting signalr to a javascript client and creating a virtual client in the nodejs server to send notifications to the client .Time was a challenge as well , i might be making changes to my submission later

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Getting a subscription from the Microsoft Outlook webhook endpoints was a challenge .

What I learned

Learned a lot on web authentication and the oauth Authentication process .

What's next for dash

More features , am planning on adding a call button that allows people to respond to calls straight from the widget using a windows phone .
