Inspiration

We took inspiration from classes we have taken in UChicago that covered dark patterns and ethical issues surrounding them.

What it does

Our website follows a story of a user being exposed to various dark patterns, which they can interact with and experience consequences based on them.

How we built it

We all built it together using React.js

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges coming up with a solid idea and designing it at a high level. We also had difficulties working with React as a team, specifically getting it working.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our idea which took us a long time to come up with.

What we learned

We learned much more about dark patterns and how to use React.js

What's next for Dark Patterns Everywhere

Expanding the story line and making it less linear.
