Inspiration We believe growth happens outside comfort zones. Social media often glorifies success but hides the struggle. DareLabs was built to challenge that — a platform where people publicly commit to real-life dares, earn XP, and track personal growth. The idea came from our frustration with fake online personas and the lack of platforms that promote raw, real, uncomfortable self-improvement.

What it does DareLabs allows users to create, accept, and complete real-life dares with set time limits and XP rewards. Users upload photo/video proof for completion, earn XP, and climb a real-time leaderboard. Failed dares reflect in their profile, making progress transparent. We also have a separate mentor system where mentors can guide users, and an admin panel to manage the ecosystem.

How we built it The platform uses:

Frontend: Lovable AI-generated designs, refined with custom minimal-rebellion UI

Backend: Supabase for real-time database, authentication, and storage

Admin Panel: Built with Bolt for real-time data control, mentor requests, and traffic insights

Leaderboard & XP: Real-time logic using Supabase functions

Optional Media Storage: Supabase storage for proof images/videos
