Inspiration

dApp Sneakers was born out of a genuine love for sneakers and a desire to simplify and secure the sneaker resale experience. We wanted to bring transparency, authenticity, and a sense of community to the world of sneaker trading.

What it does

dApp Sneakers utilizes blockchain technology and NFTs to create a secure and transparent platform for buying, selling, and trading sneakers. It provides users with a digital certificate of authenticity for each sneaker transaction, eliminates hidden fees, and fosters a global community of sneaker enthusiasts.

How we built it

Built on the Ethereum blockchain!

Challenges we ran into

While developing dApp Sneakers, we encountered several challenges. One of the primary hurdles was the damn ADI not working where Jack and I had to spend 4 hours debugging it until I gave up and decided to do my homework. Atleast I got the smart contract done :D

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Not many but I got the smart contract done :D

What we learned

tons of cool stuff: never upload your private key unless you wanna get mugged by online bots.

What's next for dApp Sneakers

I'm definetly not done yet. I'm gonna build this whole thing as soon as I get back to my dorm and I'm not stopping until I'm done and have a working dApp!
