Inspiration
Current DAOs allow anyone to propose anything -- but there's no problem definition. How can you know if something is a good proposal if you haven't defined your purpose. The Diversifi people pointed out that they want to create a mission / constitution for NECtar DAO, but voting isn't a good enough process for this. How can we create a process of deliberation that will allow us to collaborate and not just throw stuff at the wall and see if it sticks.
What it does
The design is to allow a group of people to use an online tool to create good problem definitions. Starting with signalling, the system would be able to identify common keywords and ideas and put people into discussion groups and take into account multiple perspectives. The problem is different depending on your perspective.
How I built it
I can't build stuff so I just presented my ideas and created some wireframes in a graphics program.
Challenges I ran into
Devs think this challenge is too hard and I couldn't find a designer who wanted to join and make it beautiful. Biggest challenge right now is funding for this type of project.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Enjoying the weekend. Enrolling people into the ideas. Getting direct feedback from Diversifi. Discovering that this is a generalized process rather than specific only for problem definition, and identifying the specific areas that could be duplicated to other modules of DAO governance.
What I learned
In addition to what I noted in the previous answer, I would say I learned that it's rewarding to continue going deeper into the details of this problem. I've been working on general outlines for years but when I start to break things down into modules, I can see that even though they are part of a larger system, each module has useful applications even today.
What's next for DAO: Problem Definition by Voice of Humanity
Fundraising. I'm not exactly sure the right way to raise funds but I have agreement of my beta users and I think I can do an MVP and pilot for $150,000
