Inspiration
I wanted to work on my web dev skills with a focus on Javascript and Jquery.
What it does
It's supposed to be a website that generates dank memes from reddit.
How I built it
I used basic webdev (HTML, CSS, JS, and jquery)/
Challenges I ran into
I had only been introduced to javascript and didn't really understand any of jquery. Understanding the syntax and using both javascript and jquery to do what I wanted them to do was a struggle.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
This project is not yet complete, but I'm simply proud of the idea behind the project (if I get it to eventually work).
What I learned
$ means jquery is being used.
What's next for DankMemeGenerator
I would like to finish the project, add some good css, and load images instead of just links.
