Inspiration.

The inspiration came to me at a graduation party some weeks ago with the song "disco inferno" and I remembered how much I used to dance with my friends that song when we were little. We would love going to the arcade on Fridays and spend the whole afternoon dancing and playing.

What it does

This lens let's you play dancing game on a disco title floor and tracks your score so you can share it with your friend.

How we built it

I built this lens using a 3D model of the title floor, some interactive colliders, a foot tracker with colliders, music, an audio script that coordinates the floor with the music, the power of the world controller for a more interactive AR experience and scripting for the score, music and interactivity.

Challenges we ran into

The scripting part was the most difficult part of the lens. But after a lot of patience, tutorials and hard work I made it work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The thing I'm more proud of is that I learned to code Java Script and of course the end result. I feel so proud of myself every time I show it to anyone of my friends and family.

What we learned

Physics was also a challenge but I'm so glad I finally learned about it be course the things that someone can do with this feature are endless.

What's next for Dance Arcade

So the next big thing would be to be able to choose different songs and maybe make it a connected lens you can play with your friends at the same time no matter where you are.
