Inspiration

Small local distributors still operate with manual decisions, fragmented communication, paper notes, and reactive logistics. Many lose sales opportunities because they cannot predict customer demand, optimize routes, or automate operational decisions in real time.

We wanted to build an AI-native operational platform that helps small distributors compete using intelligent automation.

What it does

Danali AI Operator is an AI-powered operational assistant for local distribution businesses.

The platform uses Gemini to:

  • Predict which customers are likely to run out of water soon
  • Detect high-demand operational zones
  • Recommend optimized delivery priorities
  • Assist distributors with operational decisions
  • Generate intelligent customer follow-up suggestions
  • Automate logistics analysis for small businesses

The system integrates with a real operational logistics infrastructure already used by local distributors.

How we built it

The project uses:

  • Android Native (Kotlin)
  • Firebase
  • Google Cloud
  • Gemini API
  • Jetpack Compose

Gemini acts as the operational intelligence layer of the system.

The platform combines existing logistics infrastructure with newly developed AI-native operational workflows created during the hackathon.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was transforming traditional logistics workflows into AI-native operations without disrupting existing real-world distributor activity.

Another challenge was designing AI recommendations that remain useful, explainable, and operationally safe in real environments.

What we learned

We learned that small local businesses can benefit enormously from operational AI when the technology is integrated directly into daily workflows instead of existing only as a chatbot.
