Inspiration
Markus had an idea to help companies analyze and visualize data of customer complaints submitted by users via mobile applications.
What it does
dampfimkessel accumulates, simplifies and shows complaint data in a beautiful way using a rest-backend written in python and node.js.
How we built it
dampfimkessel is built on node.js and a python-rest service. Bootstrap was used in order to present a nice looking WebUI.
Challenges we ran into
Setting up the rest server to process and supplying JSON data dynamically to our WebUI was quite a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A first usable demo was available 24hrs after starting the project.
What I learned
Mostly server related workarounds and Google's Map-API for Javascript.
What's next for dampf-im-kessel
We'll definitively work on more features after the hackathon ends.
