Inspiration

As a kid I played Starfall daily. It helped me gain vast knowledge of subjects such as English and pushed me to be ahead of my peers in terms of education. The idea came to me in a dream and I said "This is it." I pitched it to my team and well now we're here.

What it does

Damien's Pound is a college-themed (UAlbany) educational website to help freshmen with furthering their education.

How we built it

designing how the site would look on paper, and using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a lot of challenges. Specifically with the CSS and JavaScript. The math game Used to have a function that would randomize the box's location on the graph and scroll up when the answer was correct, but once the images were put in it completely broke, so that had to be removed. We also had another Math game in the works but the Script and CSS just were not working out so it was scrapped.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of just getting this site done within the time frame really.

What we learned

We've learned a lot about how hard web design is, especially with using a lot of JavaScript.

What's next for Damien's Pound

Adding more games to cover a broad variety of subjects!!
