Dalí Atomicus AĨ: One photographer. One genius artist. 3 cats.

Surreal AI documentary/fantasy film made out of just one single photo. But rather an epic one.

In 1948, photographer Philippe Halsman made a surreal photo with Salvador Dali, which TIME Magazine places among the Top 100 Most Influential photographs ever taken.

It is known as Dalí Atomicus & it is so surreal that we decided to imagine how this iconic shot might "actually" have been created.

The film follows the path of Salvador Dali through his performance photo shoot with Philippe Halsman: the image catches Dali mid-jump with flying cats and a splashing bucket of water, symbolizing the atomic age. Almost a century later, we entered an AI age, which serves as a main inspiration to reimagine this iconic photo and go way beyond the historic photo and traditional painting canvas:

Dalí Atomicus AĨ tells a story of one of the most charismatic and provocative artists and his works in a most experimental Dali-like manner. And in his own words (the short AI documentary features excerpts from original interviews with Salvador Dali).
