Inspiration

  1. Lots of training in making crafts but lack of forums to promote it.
  2. There is an application that encourages people to do good things (ex kitaBisa), but within the scope of protecting the environment.
  3. Lifted from the Citarum river (the area of ​​one of the members), there is a garbage bank around it. Remember that the waste bank benefits both parties, namely nature and humans themselves. Here we try to educate the waste bank and sensitivity to the environment through our expertise.

What it does

  1. Educate the public about the importance of protecting the environment.
  2. Make it easier for the public to find out the list of waste banks in the surrounding area.
  3. Make it easier for the community to deposit waste at the waste bank.
  4. Bringing together the community, with craftsmen from organic waste to conduct transactions.

How we built it

  1. Looking for trouble.
  2. Collect a list of ideas that can solve the problem along with existing data.
  3. Determine the idea to be executed.
  4. Look for competitors and their shortcomings.
  5. Finalization of the product.
  6. Execution (construction).

Challenges we ran into

  1. Poor time management.
  2. Not yet accurate in determining the time of execution of a task.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. Build a product from scratch.
  2. We can create a solution that is most likely in accordance with the existing problems.
  3. This application can have a positive impact on awareness of waste management in the community.
  4. Unique application compared to competitors.

What we learned

  1. Brainstorm with the team within the allotted time.
  2. Organizing team performance and responsibilities of each member to work on this project in 36 hours.
  3. Looking for data/facts that support the Dalang project to emerge.
  4. Good planning will produce a good product.
  5. Make decisions appropriately, quickly and accurately.
  6. Carry out risk management for the worst possibilities that arise in project work.

What's next for Dalang - Daur Ulang (Recycle)

  1. Complete all the features that were initiated during the hackaton planning.
  2. Create a marketplace to bring together recycled waste craftsmen with consumers (users) who are interested in the product.
  3. Introduce this application to the owner or head of the waste bank in the surrounding area.
  4. Introduce this application to the public.
