Inspiration: DAIVIKA SAMÃH was born from a simple belief: that anyone should be able to share a fashion idea, regardless of whether they are a trained designer or confident illustrator.

Fashion ideas often start as something we can visualize but find hard to translate onto paper. I aimed to create a calmer, more accessible space where the idea takes center stage, allowing users to explore creatively without the pressure of a social feed.

What it does: DAIVIKA SAMÃH is a privacy-first fashion creativity and sketching platform designed to help people turn fashion ideas into visual concepts.

Our first phase is a free phase where users can start by selecting any croquis overlays (female, male, kids, baby, pregnant) all croquis have (front, back, and side poses), and start drawing and shading, work with colors and cultural palettes, use layers, grids, and symmetry, save their work, and export designs as PNG files.

The experience is intentionally calm and non-social, allowing users to create privately and at their own pace.

How we built it: DAIVIKA SAMÃH was developed as a mobile application using Flutter and Firebase, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Storage.

I led the product vision, fashion direction, feature planning, user experience, and testing, working with an independent developer to turn the concept into a functioning product.

Phase One launched publicly on iOS and Android in March 2026.

Challenges we faced: One challenge was balancing useful creative tools with simplicity. Professional fashion and illustration software can be intimidating for beginners, so every feature had to be considered through the question: does this help someone express an idea without making the experience overwhelming?

Building as a bootstrapped early-stage company has also required careful prioritization. Instead of trying to build everything at once, we have developed SAMÃH in focused phases while learning from real users.

Achievements we're proud of: The biggest accomplishment is taking SAMÃH from an idea to a real product available on both iOS and Android.

I bootstrapped more than $17,000 to bring the product to market, and it has reached 450+ combined installs. We also ran our first global in-app fashion creativity challenge, allowing users to create and submit original work using SAMÃH.

For a small founder-led company, seeing people actually download, use, and create with something that once existed only as an idea has been an important validation.

Lessons we learned: We learned that the opportunity is not simply to provide more digital drawing tools. The deeper challenge is reducing the technical and emotional barriers between having a fashion idea and being able to express it visually.

User behavior has also reinforced the importance of simplicity, privacy, and guided creative support.

Those lessons are shaping the next stages of SAMÃH, including more beginner-friendly garment guidance, portfolio tools, and eventually more advanced designer workflows.

What's next for DAIVIKA SAMÃH: The next phase of DAIVIKA SAMÃH will focus on making fashion ideation even more accessible through guided garment elements, improved beginner support, an AI platform, and portfolio market tools. Longer-term development includes designer workflows, collaboration, and measurement capabilities while preserving the calm, privacy-first experience at the heart of the platform.

DAIVIKA SAMÃH is live. What began as a vision for a calmer, more accessible way to express fashion ideas is now a working product available on iOS and Android. We are continuing to learn from real users, improve the experience, and validate what creators need most.

This is only the beginning.
