Inspiration

We wanted to create an alternative to traditional HR management systems, as existing solutions often lack essential features such as work tracking and task reporting.

What It Does

Daily Standup is a centralized management platform designed to streamline daily task reporting and leave request workflows within organizations. It enables employees to communicate their progress efficiently while providing team leaders with real-time visibility into team performance and resource allocation.

How We Built It

We used Bolt as a project accelerator, along with Next.js for the frontend and Supabase for the backend, to rapidly develop and deploy the system.

Challenges We Faced

One of the key challenges we encountered was integrating machine learning to build an intelligent employee matching feature, which required significant experimentation and tuning.

Accomplishments We're Proud Of

We successfully developed the "My Trainee" feature with the help of Bolt. Initially, we thought it would be very difficult to implement, so achieving this was a significant milestone for our team.

What We Learned

We learned how to effectively use Bolt to prototype and launch functional MVPs quickly. It also improved our ability to iterate on ideas and turn them into usable tools.

What's Next for Daily Standup

Our next steps include bug fixing and adding new features—such as overtime tracking for employees. We're also exploring the use of Go to handle certain backend tasks more efficiently.
