I was inspired to make this project since I wanted to provide a way for the younger generation to become more interested in pursuing a higher education and seeing new examples of women who have made great contributions in their respective fields of interest might inspire others to research into different subjects and learn more.
This website provides an overview of an inspiring woman in STEM, health/medicine, law, or a business field and updates daily--a new person every day. The website has an easy-to-understand and user-friendly way layout and also links to additional pages if the reader is interested in finding out more.
I built the website using HTML and CSS code.
I ran into several challenges dealing with the formatting of the text and images on the website.
I am proud of being able to configure an idea and construct a baseline for a website in a short period of time. The website still needs some improvements in the layout format and amount the information provided, which can be accomplished with more research.
I was able to learn more about coding with HTML and CSS and how many possibilities there to customize a website.
I hope to further improve in the information and content for the website after a better layout is achieved so that more images can be added, as well as special effects.
