About the Project
Inspiration
I love solving word puzzles, and I’ve been playing guessing games with my brother and cousin every day for a while now. It’s fun, keeps our brains active, and helps us stay connected even when we’re apart. That experience inspired me to create Daily Guess.
What I Learned
- Designing words that feel challenging but still fair to guess
- Balancing the number of tries so it feels rewarding, not frustrating
- Writing clear instructions and thinking about user experience
How I Built It
The game was built as a word guessing app where players must discover the hidden word in limited attempts. I focused on simple design and intuitive interactions:
- Present a secret target word
- Let players enter guesses and check feedback
- Highlight letters with clues to guide progress
Challenges
- Finding words that are common enough to be guessable
- Preventing overly obscure or niche words that frustrate players
- Balancing difficulty so daily rounds feel fun and achievable
Each guess brings you closer to the solution, but only if you interpret the letter clues wisely!
