Inspiration:

Our inspiration for TrendWave came from the desire to create a global platform that simplifies the process of staying informed while fostering open dialogue on the most pressing issues of our time. We wanted to empower individuals to influence and shape the trends and conversations happening worldwide.

What it does:

TrendWave is a user-friendly app that connects people from all over the world to engage in daily yes/no polls on trending topics. Users can swipe right or left to vote on questions, see results from previous polls, and contribute to shaping tomorrow's trends.

How we built it:

We built TrendWave using a combination of modern web and mobile app development technologies. Our front end was crafted using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while the back end relied on robust databases and server technologies. Extensive user testing and feedback shaped the final product.

Challenges we ran into:

During development, we faced challenges in optimizing the app's real-time functionality, ensuring data privacy, and making the swiping experience seamless and intuitive. We also encountered hurdles related to cross-platform compatibility.
