Daffodil is an anti-algorithm YouTube client that is not designed to hook you, but rather to recommend interesting videos on topics you may not have heard of. Daffodil uses a smart adapting AI-powered aptitude test that assesses what video topics you may not have heard of but will find interesting. After the test, it recommends several YouTube videos that can be viewed in the Daffodil client. The goal is to get the user more exposed to new topics and find things they may be interested in but have not heard of. View counts, likes/dislikes, and comments are not shown in the client in order to not use metrics to sway the opinions of the viewer.
