Inspiration
Data leaks inspired me to create a decentralized chat application. I wanted to offer a secure platform where users could communicate without worrying about their personal information being compromised. By decentralizing the system, I aim to minimize the risk of data breaches and prioritize user privacy.
What it does
The application provides a secure platform for users to communicate privately without the risk of data leaks. It utilizes web3 technologies to ensure that messages are stored securely across multiple nodes, minimizing the chances of interception or unauthorized access.
How I built it
I built the application using React JS for the frontend interface, Web3.js for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain, Ganache for local blockchain development, Truffle for smart contract development, Solidity for writing smart contracts, and Sepolia blockchain for contract deployment.
Challenges I ran into
It was very difficult to complete the project in 3 days but somehow I manged to complete it. It still contains some bugs which did not get resolve on time.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
I was able to complete the project.
