D.O.U.G.

Detection of Unauthorized Grabbing or D.O.U.G is a defense system for the Monopoly bank. No longer will players be able to get away with sneaking money out the bank.

Inspiration

It's not rare to see cheaters in monopoly. The easiest way to cheat in monopoly is by stealing money from the bank, we seek to change that.

What it does

D.O.U.G is able to detect when a hand is near the bank, and unless a disarm button is pressed an alarm will go off and the thief will be blasted. The disarm button will also play an alarm to notify all players of it being pressed

How we built it

D.O.U.G. was constructed using several custom 3d printed parts and a Nerf blaster. Each part is controlled by motors to give the blaster several different angles of fire. Lastly a Zed 2 is used to give accurate aiming to make sure any thieves are correctly tracked.

Challenges we ran into

Many software issues such as learning new software, hardware not working as intended, and motors needing better placement to give more force.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully overcame many of our challenges, added new and creative features, and made a product we are proud of.
