Medibot (hackathon)

What inspired this project

The project was inspired by a project made by MIT where they used an AI system to effectively detect melanoma given a wide-field image of a patient's skin.

What it does

Given a CSV file of medical data, the program leverages advanced machine learning algorithms and image analysis techniques to analyze medical data and provide insights and recommendations to the user.

How we built it

We built the program using Python and sk-learn's machine learning resources.

Challenges we ran into

A problem that we ran into is that medical data is often limited in availability, which restricted our ability to train and test Medibot effectively.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The first time that the code successfully ran, I was elated because I had been debugging for hours.

What we learned

Over the course of this project, I learned the complexities of machine learning/AI and its various applications.

What's next for Medibot

We are looking to improve the UI of our website and the accuracy of the program.
