Hello all! My name is Margarita and I am a recent graduate from the University of Chicago. As a biologist, I have always been interested in making science more accessible. When the coronavirus pandemic started, I knew it was time to use my talents and knowledge to help, I just did not know how.
I currently work in a community health clinic and work with young children, many of which are scared and confused by the pandemic. The moment I saw Emory's e-book competition, I knew I had to enter. This was finally my opportunity to help people understand the pandemic, particularly children who are so vulnerable to stress and anxiety during these times. I hope you are able to enjoy!
