Cypto-Price Predictor

Inspiration

We are interested in the idea of using AI to make predictions. We believe cryptocurrency would greatly benefit from this kind of technology, and so our AI/ML project is centered around that industry.

What it does

Crypto-Price Predictor uses regressions to calculate the probable price of Ethereum.

How we built it

We built our AI product using Python.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with dividing the work and managing our time in order to complete the project in just a few days while attending a university. We also had to learn and re-learn programs and programming techniques in a short time span.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We will be proud to produce a basic prototype that will convey our ideas and form a solid foundation to build a real product upon.

What we learned

• The importance of closely analyzing and understanding the data before trying to use it. • Predicting sporadic activity, such as price changes, is difficult and requires more than just simple algorithms to accurately model. o Our linear regression model may work in a vacuum, but not in an imperfect world.
