Inspiration

While working on building AI applications for various size of organizations, one of the biggest challenges that I have seen teams face is to integrate their data with AI models. With Cygni, we break that barrier and makes it seemless for developers and enterprises to build AI capabilities into their applications.

What it does

Cygni helps you build AI powered applications with your own data, wherever it is. All you have to do is connect your data sources such as s3, urls, database etc. with Cygni. We take care of chunking, metadata enhancement, embeddings and indexing of your data so that you can build AI capability into your application.

  • Developers can user our APIs to build applications with their favorite LLM and any data source.
  • Non-developers can also use our portal to build applications with their own data and LLMs.

How we built it

Cygni is a cloud native application built on top of industry leading cloud service, LLMs and vectore database.

Challenges we ran into

Nothing significant besides few infrastructure related issue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though the application is still in progress, we were able to build an end to end application experience. We are also proud of our seemless deployment capability of the applciations. It helps us deploying many times a day as we add more capabilities into the system.

What we learned

We have learnt that autmation in various part of the applications make the team nimble and move faster.

What's next for Cygni

  • Learn and build
    • Reach out to the potential users.
    • Get feedback from users and improve upon it.
  • Add more integrations with various types of data sources.
  • Build strong community around Cygni and AI.
