Inspiration
My motivation is to use location services in real-time and pay online on demand to make commuting easy.
What it does
This is an e-cycle renting product where the company can track the locations of e-cycles placed in various city zones and navigate users to use them by paying through the In-App payment service of Square. Users can unlock the cycle after the payment is verified and can drive.
How we built it
Swift is used for the front end with Apple Map View as the main screen of the application. This is made on demo application for now. But In the future, it can be expanded to a huge business model by using backend support, data analytics, and Geofence tools. Auto subscriptions can also be supported in this project
Challenges we ran into
Geofence is a great tool to trigger the location events when the user moves between the location zones but it was not easy to implement it in this demo for now. It would need more time but it would have a huge impact on its functionality.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
For now, it is just to present the big idea behind this small demo.
What we learned
Square has multiple tools that can help make this product real.
