Hackers have become more and more sophisticated and increasingly motivated. In the past, security was a secondary concern for many businesses, but now it's more important than ever. The problem is that most security systems are outdated, and can't keep up with today's hackers. But Cybot has created an innovative new technology that uses artificial intelligence to detect fraudulent activity and prevent cyber attacks

What it does

Cybot is an artificial intelligence (AI) driven cyber security company that has developed a proprietary method to detect cyber threats in real time. Cybot also offers fraud detection technology innovations that are based on VR, smart biometrics, and multi-factor authentication. These technologies help customers prevent fraud and identity theft by improving fraud detection rates and enabling companies to respond to cyber threats more quickly.

How we built it

We have developed and released an innovative anti-fraud technology, Cybot, for a variety of information security and fraud prevention applications, including the prevention of fraudulent transactions, the detection of malicious code, and the prevention of identity theft. Now in its second generation, Cybot is a natural language processing (NLP) platform that analyzes potential threats to business systems by using artificial intelligence (AI) to process user input to flag suspicious activities. Cybot works by analyzing how users interact with their systems in a manner similar to how human experts would. This allows Cybot to act as an AI assistant that guides users through the process of detecting threats without requiring significant training or resources. Cybot analyzes both the content and context of user input, which is stored in text files called "corpuses." Using these corpuses, Cybot conducts statistical analysis on all aspects of data inputted into a system by users, including the frequency of events related to various key words and phrases. Using this analysis, Cybot can detect potential threats before they have any real impact on a system. Challenges we ran into

To safeguard an individual, organisation or a country by ensuring all their important and sensitive information on computers, laptops and smartphones are safeguarded, secured and encrypted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're based in Indonesia, but we're hoping to expand soon into the AI works by collecting information about the user's device, their browsing history, their social media activity, their search history, etc., and then runs this data through its proprietary algorithm to identify patterns indicative of cyber threats. It then immediately takes action in order to protect the user's online presence. This process happens entirely in the background without any human intervention or interaction with the user.

What we learned

  1. Machine learning and how it pertains to cyber security.
  2. Creating a virtual environment where bots can be simulated and tested to determine the most effective way to combat cyber threats.
  3. Finding other AI coders with an interest in machine learning and cyber security who are interested in meeting and discussing ideas.
  4. Developing a community of AI coders that can help one another.

What's next for Cybot

Adding new feature To accelerate and expand everybody's potential by designing, building and deploying intelligent technologies that augment their lives.
