Knowledge Base Comprehensive Threat Profiles with detailed descriptions and real-world examples
Inspiration : With cyber threats growing more frequent and complex, I noticed how fragmented and overwhelming threat intelligence has become. Professionals and even the general public struggle to understand what’s happening, where, and what it means. I was inspired to build a unified platform that not only gathers threat data from various sources but uses AI to simplify and visualize that information in a way that anyone can act on.
What it does : CyberWatch is a real-time cybersecurity dashboard that: Aggregates threat intelligence from global feeds and sources Categorizes threats (e.g., ransomware, phishing, malware, DDoS) Uses AI to summarize threats into simple, actionable insight Displays critical metrics, live threat counts, and 24h trends Includes tools for threat hunting, collaboration, and research Offers a Knowledge Base with threat explanations and prevention techniques
How we built it : Used Bolt.new to prototype the structure using AI prompts Structured the UI with React and Tailwind CSS Integrated mock data to simulate real-time feeds Created modular components like Dashboard, ThreatCard, ThreatHunting, and KnowledgeBase Designed a dark theme UI optimized for security professionals Demonstrated logic with mocked AI summaries and filters
Challenges we ran into : Simulating real-time data feeds without backend APIs Tuning AI prompts for clear and accurate summaries Balancing professional design with user-friendly UX Managing project scope and delivery within hackathon time limits
Accomplishments that we're proud of : Built a modular, multi-functional cybersecurity platform Developed a clean and professional UI with live metric simulation Added collaborative intelligence features for analysts Designed AI-driven summaries that bridge technical and non-technical users
What we learned : Prompt engineering for structured app generation with Bolt Building scalable front-end dashboards with React How to communicate complex security data simply The importance of human + AI collaboration in threat response
What's next for CyberWatch : Connect to live APIs (e.g., CISA, CVE, MISP, social feeds) Add real AI summarization (OpenAI, Cohere) Integrate with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms Implement user roles and team dashboards Expand the threat Knowledge Base into a learning portal
