WE indeed used magic loops but as there were so many things to do we couldnt use it the way we wanted
Cybersec: Making Cybersecurity Learning Engaging and Accessible
Inspiration
In today’s digital age, cybersecurity is a crucial skill that everyone should possess. However, learning it often feels overwhelming or dull, especially for students. We wanted to change that by creating a platform that makes cybersecurity education fun, practical, and easy to grasp. Our goal was to build a space where learners could explore, learn, and gain hands-on experience in one seamless platform.
What It Does
Cybersec is designed to simplify and gamify cybersecurity education, offering users an engaging and practical learning experience:
1. AI-Powered Course Generator
- Users can input any cybersecurity topic they’re curious about.
- Nevius AI generates:
- A simple and clear explanation of the topic.
- Real-world examples to demonstrate its everyday relevance.
2. Articles Section
- A curated collection of GitHub repositories for learning cybersecurity and networking.
- Links to platforms like TryHackMe and Capture The Flag (CTF) sites for hands-on practice.
- Includes recommendations for trusted free and paid courses.
3. YouTube Video Integration (Planned)
- We planned to include embedded YouTube videos for visual learning.
- Although technical issues delayed this feature, it's a high priority for future updates.
4. Contact Section
- Users can send feedback or questions by entering their email, username, and message.
- Integrated with EmailJS to provide instant auto-replies.
5. Scrolling Animations
- Smooth and engaging animations powered by AOS and styled with Tailwind CSS enhance the user experience.
How We Built It
- Frontend: Developed with React.js and styled with Tailwind CSS for a clean and responsive design.
- AI Integration: Powered by Nevius AI to dynamically create educational content.
- Email Automation: EmailJS was used to handle auto-replies for user feedback.
- Backend: Built with Node.js for API management and data handling.
- Animations: Leveraged AOS for smooth scrolling effects.
Challenges We Faced
- YouTube Integration: Embedding videos proved challenging, and we couldn’t resolve the issues in time.
- Learning New Tools: Nebius AI and EmailJS were new to us, requiring quick learning and implementation.
- Frontend-Backend Coordination: Ensuring smooth communication between components was occasionally tricky.
- Polishing Animations: Integrating AOS animations seamlessly with the design took extra effort.
- Time Management: With so many features on our wishlist, prioritizing key functionalities was essential.
Accomplishments We’re Proud Of
- Successfully integrated AI-powered tools to personalize learning.
- Built a clean and responsive interface that’s user-friendly.
- Streamlined user communication through EmailJS automation.
- Delivered smooth scrolling animations that elevate the user experience.
What We Learned
- Quickly learning and implementing tools like Nebius AI, EmailJS, and AOS.
- The importance of teamwork and communication in balancing frontend and backend development.
- How to prioritize tasks effectively and stay focused under tight deadlines.
What’s Next for Cybersec
- YouTube Integration: Fixing the embedding issues to enhance visual learning.
- Expanding AI Features: Introducing quizzes, simulations, and more interactive elements.
- Additional Resources: Curating more tools and platforms for users to explore.
- Progress Tracking: Enabling users to track their learning and receive personalized recommendations.
- Launch and Feedback: Making the platform public, gathering user feedback, and iterating for improvement.
Cybersec is just the beginning of our mission to make cybersecurity education accessible, enjoyable, and impactful for everyone!

Magic Loop Track Submission
Feature Attempted: We aimed to use Magic Loops to send daily cybersecurity news to students who signed up on our platform. The idea was simple but impactful: deliver the latest cybersecurity updates straight to their inboxes every day to keep them informed, aware, and engaged.
What Happened: We successfully set up the Magic Loop workflow and tested it for email delivery. However, during the final integration phase, we encountered unexpected technical challenges that prevented us from fully implementing the feature in time for the hackathon.
Why We Should Be Considered: Although we couldn’t complete the feature, our idea highlights the power of Magic Loops in automating impactful user engagement. By delivering daily cybersecurity insights, we aimed to create a platform that actively educates and empowers students to stay ahead of potential threats.
Future Plans: We are committed to making this feature a reality in future updates to our app. With the foundation already in place, we will work on resolving the technical challenges and integrating Magic Loops to achieve the vision we set out for during this hackathon. You can see the magic loop daily email news screenshot in the section we added it (image gallery)
