🚀 Inspiration

With cyber threats growing in volume and sophistication, we were inspired to create a system that helps both everyday users and security officers quickly detect and respond to potential attacks. Our goal was to build a unified platform that combines essential scanning tools with professional-grade threat intelligence powered by AI all in a single, accessible dashboard.

💡 What it does

CyberIntel.AI is an AI-powered cybersecurity command center with two access levels:

👤 User Access

  • URL Scanner to detect phishing and malware links
  • QR Code Analyzer to catch redirection-based attacks
  • File Analyzer to identify malicious files
  • Real-time voice alerts using AI narration
  • Email notifications for each scan or threat
  • Activity log showing live threat history

🛡 Officer Access

  • Advanced dashboard for incident management
  • Digital forensics and audit trail viewer
  • Vulnerability scanning and patch status
  • Global threat map and weekly analytics
  • Active officer tracking, response time metrics, and system monitoring

🧱 How we built it

  1. Role-Based Access Design

    • Created distinct flows for Users and Officers to ensure appropriate access to tools and data.
  2. Hacker-Themed User Interface

    • Designed an immersive UI resembling real security terminals for authenticity.
  3. Real-Time Alerts Integration

    • Implemented email notifications using Node mailer and live updates via WebSockets.
  4. AI Voice Alerts

    • Integrated ElevenLabs to narrate security alerts for better accessibility and urgency.
  5. Security Metrics & Logs

    • Displayed system stats using visual counters, logs, charts, and a global map to simulate real Threats dashboards.
  6. Deployment & Domain

    • Hosted the project on Netlify and used a .site domain for professional presentation.

🧗 Challenges we ran into

  • Ensuring real-time sync between user scans and officer dashboard alerts
  • Integrating AI voice alerts while maintaining performance
  • Designing an intuitive interface that’s also visually “cyber” and professional
  • Managing user and officer role separation without exposing confidential data
  • Meeting tight hackathon timelines while deploying with custom domains
