Inspiration
We like simulation game since it provides an opportunity to be a manager, seeing where the choice we made will lead us. Wouldn't it be better that we create our own simulator game?
What it does
Cyberfarm2067 is a light web game so that players can easily start playing it. Under the cruel exploitation of giant corporations, the lives of ordinary people are filled with untold suffering. Driven beyond endurance, thousands of people fled to the edge of the world and established a new society: the Day City. It is a new era and everything starts from scratch. As the elected mayor, the players need to develop productivity, deal with crises, and implement policy so that people can live and work in peace and contentment.
How we built it
This project is 99% coded independently HTML,CSS and JavaScript Pixel Art Electronic soundtrack
Challenges we ran into
Brainstorming an idea (a tool? a web? a game?) Developing a logic system in which the game proceeds Converting the logics into code Finding pixel art assets and make adjustments Fixing audio issue Moderating game parameters so that the players will not die/win on the first day
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It's the first game we developed from the ground up, starting off constructing the most basics context, goals, and character relationship; incorporating, and even creating, pixel characters and electronic sound effects; and finally cultivating it into a playable game
What we learned
We learned how to collaborate with each other and found that the efficiency was way higher. We learned the importance of teamwork and how much potential we together could reach.
What's next for Cyberfarm 2076
Step-by-step tutorials for first-time players Turning it into a mobile app More event&policy Prettier user interface
