Inspiration
Cyber threats are becoming more common, yet many individuals and small organizations lack the expertise to analyze and respond to them effectively. We wanted to build an AI-powered solution that makes cybersecurity more accessible and proactive.
What it does
Cyber Shield AI analyzes suspicious URLs, files, and system logs to identify potential threats, assess risk levels, and provide actionable security recommendations. It helps users detect phishing attempts and other cyber risks quickly.
How we built it
We built Cyber Shield AI using Python, Streamlit, Pandas, and AI/ML techniques. The platform processes security data, performs threat analysis, and presents results through an intuitive dashboard.
Challenges we ran into
Collecting realistic security data, improving threat detection accuracy, and presenting complex cybersecurity insights in a simple and understandable way were our biggest challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully developed a functional cybersecurity assistant that automates threat analysis and provides clear, actionable insights for users with varying levels of security expertise.
What we learned
We gained hands-on experience in cybersecurity, machine learning, data analysis, and building user-focused AI applications under hackathon time constraints.
What's next for Cyber Shield AI
We plan to add real-time threat intelligence feeds, advanced malware detection, email phishing analysis, SIEM integration, and an autonomous incident response module powered by AI.
