About the Project

Cyber Security Simulator is a beginner-friendly C console application designed to demonstrate basic cybersecurity concepts through an interactive user management system.

The project was inspired by the idea of understanding how common security mechanisms work behind the scenes. Instead of only learning cybersecurity concepts theoretically, I wanted to build a small system that simulates them in code.

The simulator will include user registration, login, password validation, limited login attempts, account blocking, and different access levels.

I am building the project in C because it gives me a better understanding of how data, memory, functions, structures, and program logic work at a lower level.

One of the main challenges is designing the authentication logic correctly and making sure that different security rules work together without creating unexpected behavior.

Through this project, I aim to improve my C programming, problem-solving, and understanding of basic cybersecurity principles while building something practical from scratch.
