What it does
Cyber Defender is an interactive game that combines terminal-based missions, trivia, and file system navigation to teach players about cybersecurity.
How I built it
Built Cyber Defender using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was creating a realistic terminal experience within a web environment. I also encountered some issues with handling user input, particularly ensuring that the “Enter” key triggers the correct actions.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
Creating an interactive and educational experience that can help users learn about cybersecurity in a hands-on way.
What I learned
A deeper understanding of JavaScript, particularly in handling complex user interactions and state management.
What's next for Cyber Defender
Expand the range of missions and introduce more complex cybersecurity challenges, such as penetration testing simulations and advanced threat detection scenarios.
