Inspiration
Last Fall I took a CEG course as part of my requirement for my masters at Wright State University that and the final project for the subject required to load a 10 hr video and visualise it based on the information on the video. The project ended up so slow and heated up my system just by testing it has inspired me to build this project a way to provide a lossless compression of datasets(since model are mostly build on csv file)
What it does
cxj is a c# class library which looks for a specific file(I am testing for csv files) which is used for building machine learning models and does a lossless compression on dataset and reducing the file size and provide the data as a stream over a network to directly interact with the process of model building.
Challenges we ran into
Articles on specific functinalites and how the brotil compression work under the hood
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Design on how the library works
What we learned
Azure and build tools and maintaining tool is not easy or fancy as it looks
What's next for cxj
optimisation and keeping the project to the latest trends and making it available for other 2 big cloud services
