Inspiration
Poverty is a wicked problem with no simple solution, influenced by many factors. Inspired by SAP’s sustainability goals, we aimed to create a data-driven Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) to better understand and address poverty. We also leveraged machine learning techniques to analyze the importance of specific indicators, allowing us to suggest data-driven policy recommendations for the most affected countries.
