This music video continues the herpetological adventures of 'Phyllomedusa', the interdimensional, time-travelling, shape-shifting, anthropomorphic red-eyed green tree frog, half-demon hybrid beauty, on an expedition in 'Antartica', 33,000 years ago. [Note that 'Antartica' is deliberately spelled with the intention to be confused with Antarctica, the continent - they are not the same place. More on this will be revealed via interconnected upcoming video projects]. The heavy metal composition "CVD: The Herpetologist" is the second 'movement' in the Crimson Veil Descent (2025), my album inspired by a friendship formed with a former co-worker in the armoured car industry, over two decades ago, who is also a veteran, adventurer, nature photographer, writer and avid herpetologist. The lyrics "James, this one's for you." is repeated on the album's seven tracks, which are more akin to movements in an orchestral suite. Having an excellent sense of humour, James C. once joked that there should be a song dedicated to Phyllomedusa. So, 20-something years later, thanks to AI, I've composed, released and dedicated an entire album on the subject to James, unbeknownst to him.
